We didn’t know what they meant when they said "Long way to go, Jaipur!" Now we realize, they were talking about the Au Bank Jaipur Marathon’s full run. As in, 42 kms is a long-long way to go!
City’s first full marathon is being organized by Au Bank Jaipur Marathon on 5th February, 2017.
After Mumbai, Delhi and Pune, now it’s time Jaipur to run like clockwork for this 42 kms long, full Marathon. Pink City has already set its foot in the 21 kms half marathon, and we are all set for this double-dhamaka as well.
Course Of The Run
The marathon runners will mark their route on International Map. The journey starts from South gate of Albert Hall and back, via Trimurti Circle, Moti Dungri Temple, from right in front of Rajasthan University to Mahatma Gandhi Circle, Jawahar Kala Kendra and then left turn from MNIT intersection to Apex circle, then U-turn and back to Malviya Nagar Bridge and heading towards WTP and U-turn from Jawahar Circle, then from BSNL to Bajaj Nagar Police Station and then about turn to JLN Marg and back to Albert Hall. This is 21 kms course for half marathon, then running about the same route again will complete the full marathon.
Confused, are you? Don’t be, it’s gonna be fun anyway!
The journey is said to start at 4 A.M. in the morning, after the flag off ceremony at the historical Albert Hall. The participants and runners will have to finish the run by 10 A.M.
