Rules & Regulations

The AU JAIPUR MARATHON – 42.195 KM (Full Marathon) winners will be announced from "Elite Category Only" i.e. The Prize Money is entitled for Elite Category Runners Only. Below will be the criteria for the entries and winners in Full Marathon Elite Category:

To Apply for Full Marathon Elite Category, participant's maximum finisher time in any of their previous Full Marathon Race must be:
For Male Runners: 2 Hours and 40 Minutes (2:40 Hrs)
For Female Runners: 3 Hours (3:00 Hrs)
All Elite Category - Full Marathon Participants must fulfill the above mentioned timings as per the respective gender.
If any participant's (who applied for Full Marathon Elite Category) previous race timing certificate will not be within the above mentioed timings, the participation will be considered as Full Marathon Overall Category. Please note, no refund will be there for participation cancellation.

Anybody who is going to participate in Elite Category of Full Marathon, must have to submit their entries from above mentioed link.

Full Marathon runners starting their race at 3:30 a.m. or any other start time, other than 3:15 a.m., shall be disqualified from the Event.
Race results announced on race day will be ‘provisional’. Results and entitlement to prize money shall be subject to the rules mentioned herein and the Race Regulations.
Age category results will be announced on the website / social media within one week of the event. Winner timings will be declared as per their net time.
Prize money will be given within 45 days after the event day. All prize winners, should necessarily provide details of bank accounts in India.
In addition to the above, entitlement to finish positions and Prize Money winnings are also subject to:

Bib tag timing captured across all timing points on the course, including at the start and finish mats.
Physical verification by technical officials and anti-cheat cameras, and
Dope test results (applicable only for the top overall elite marathon finishers and top Indian elite finishers).

Runners found to have interchanged their running number bib and/or bib tag with others will be disqualified from the competition. Such runners shall not be entitled to any timing or prize money (where applicable).
Prize winners declared may be required to submit further proof of identity/age, as may be required by the Promoter, for disbursement of prize money, failing which the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, withhold disbursement or disqualify the said participant from the competition.
Prize Money is subject to applicable Indian Income Tax Rules, and the same would be borne by the winner.
Protests and Appeals
[A] Only with respect to results of Marathon finish positions:

The athlete and/or his/her representative can appeal to the Race Referee in relation to the official race results declared, in writing, within 30 minutes of the official announcement of the results on race day. Results will be put up at the elite athlete Arena.
The protest letter needs to be submitted with a Protest Fee of INR 1,000.
Where the Race Referee decides,the athlete and/or the representative has the right to appeal to the Jury of Appeal. An appeal to the Jury of Appeal must be made at the Elite Result Appeals Desk within 30 minutes – (i) of the official announcement of the amended result which has been arrived at from the decision by the Race Referee, or (ii) of informing the person lodging the protest that the results will not be amended.
The Jury of Appeal shall deliver its decision within 7 working days of filing the appeal. The decision of the Jury of Appeal shall be final and there shall be no further right of appeal.
Where the protest is decided in the favors of the complainant, the Protest Fee will be refunded in full to such complainant within one-week of the decision. Where the protest is decided against the complainant, such Protest Fee will be forfeited in full.

[B] Only with respect to results of Marathon Age Category finish positions:

Any confirmed marathon runner of the AU Jaipur Marathon 2025 can lodge a protest in relation to the official race results in relation to the age category finish positions declared after the race.
The Protest Letter, along with a demand draft payable at Jaipur, of INR 1,000 to made in Favor of Indian Institute of Event Management Research Trust.
Only the protest letters received on or before, 09th Feb 2025, will be entertained.
A jury shall deliberate, verify and deliver its decision on the Protest within 7 working days of receiving the Protest Letter. The decision will be intimated to the person lodging the protest and shall be featured on the event website, wherein favorable.
Where the protest is decided in favor of the complainant, the Protest Fee will be refunded to such complainant, without any deductions, within one week of the decision. Where the protest is decided against the complainant, such Protest Fee will be forfeited in full.
The decision of the jury shall be final and binding on all.

Timing results: Where the timing result of an amateur marathon runner with respect to his/her gender and/or age, is required to be updated online, the runner needs to write, no later than 09/02/2025, at info@marathonjaipur.com , specifying the nature of edit required and attaching the relevant proof of change.
