By registering for the AU Jaipur Marathon 2026, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Registration
Eligibility: Participants must be at least 18 years old to register for the Marathon category (born on or before 1st February 2008). Proof of age may be required at the time of registration or bib collection.
Registration Period: Registration opens on 6th April 2026 and closes on 20th January 2026. No registrations will be accepted after this period.
Registration Confirmation: Your participation is confirmed only after successful completion of the registration process and payment of the registration fee. A confirmation email will be sent upon successful registration.
Registration Non-Transferable & Non-Deferable: Registrations are non-transferable. Once registered, participants cannot transfer their entry to another individual or defer it to a future event.
Medical Certificate Requirement: Some race categories may require a valid medical certificate at the time of bib collection.
Participation Rules
Race Categories: Participants must select their race category (e.g., Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, or 6K) at the time of registration. Post-registration changes in the category are not allowed.
Minimum Requirements: Participants must meet the minimum age requirement and comply with any additional entry criteria specified by the event organisers.
Health & Safety: Participants are advised to consult a physician before undertaking strenuous physical activity. Participation is at the individual’s own risk, and the event organisers will not be liable for any injuries, accidents, or health issues arising from participation.
Race Bib Collection: Participants must collect their race bibs and race kits from the designated Bib Collection Center within the specified dates. Bibs will not be distributed on race day.
Personal Identification: Participants may be required to provide valid identification at the time of race kit collection.
Event Rules
Race Day & Timing: The AU Jaipur Marathon 2026 will be held on Sunday, 1st February 2026. Participants must adhere to official race timings and complete the course within the cut-off time to be considered an official finisher.
Race Bib: The race bib must be worn visibly on the front of the participant’s shirt during the race. Tampering with or transferring the race bib to another person is strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification.
Time Tracking & Disqualification: The event will use a timing chip for official race timing. Participants not following the official race route, missing checkpoints, or engaging in misconduct will be disqualified.
Conduct & Fair Play: Participants must adhere to race rules and conduct themselves in a sportsmanlike manner. Any form of cheating, misconduct, or failure to follow race guidelines will result in immediate disqualification.
Environmental Responsibility: Participants are expected to respect the environment and must not litter on the racecourse. Trash should be disposed of in designated bins along the route.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Non-Refundable Registration Fee: The registration fee is non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to injury, illness, change in personal circumstances, or event cancellation due to force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions).
Event Cancellation or Postponement: In the unlikely event of cancellation or rescheduling, participants will be notified via email or the official event website. The organisers reserve the right to modify or cancel the event without liability.
No Bib Transfer or Resale: Selling or transferring a bib to another person is strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification.
Race Kit & Finisher’s Medal
Race Kit Collection: Participants must collect their race kit, which includes the race bib and official race apparel, from the designated Expo location. Race kits will not be mailed or delivered.
Finisher’s Medal: Participants who complete their registered race category will receive a finisher’s medal at the event. Medals must be collected at the finish line; they will not be shipped or mailed post-event.
Merchandise & T-Shirts: Participants will receive an official event T-shirt as part of their race kit (subject to availability).
Liability & Disclaimer
Assumption of Risk: By registering, participants acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with running a marathon, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, and other hazards.
Release of Liability: Participants agree to release the event organisers, sponsors, partners, and affiliated entities from any and all liability, claims, or demands arising from participation in the event.
Medical Assistance: Participants consent to receive medical treatment if deemed necessary during the event. The event organisers are not responsible for medical expenses incurred by participants.
Insurance Coverage: Participants are responsible for their own health and accident insurance. The event does not provide insurance for participants.
Data Protection & Privacy
Personal Data: By registering, participants consent to the collection and use of their personal data for event-related purposes, including but not limited to registration processing, race results, and event communication.
Photography & Media: Participants agree to the use of their name, image, video, and performance data for promotional purposes by the event organisers, sponsors, and media partners. No additional compensation will be provided.
Code of Conduct & Safety Measures
No Unauthorised Vehicles or Assistance: Participants are not allowed to be accompanied by unauthorised vehicles, bicycles, skaters, or pacers during the race.
Headphones & Music Devices: While wearing headphones is allowed, participants are encouraged to stay aware of their surroundings and listen for race officials' instructions.
Hydration & Aid Stations: There will be water and aid stations along the route. Participants are advised to stay hydrated and seek medical help if needed.
Emergency Protocol: If a participant feels unwell during the race, they should immediately notify medical personnel or a race volunteer.
Amendments & Updates
Modification of Terms: The event organisers reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated via the official event website or email notifications.
